If you haven’t been receiving notices of our recent Water Boil Advisories, then you should sign up for the CodeRED Emergency Management System. Choose from phone call, text or email alerts for emergency or general notices.
The Township of Red Rock has implemented CodeRED, an emergency notification system via phone, email or text – a service FREE to Red Rock residents. The CodeRED emergency notification system is a communication service available for emergency and non-emergency notifications. The system’s main purpose is to notify citizens of emergency situations; however, the system has the ability to be used for non-emergency notifications as well. Pertinent Community Notifications will be sent via phone, email and/or text messaging on subjects with potential impact to residents such as:
• Road closures during Winter Storm events
• Fire Ban restrictions
• Hydrant Flushing
CodeRED notification may be invoked for emergency purposes. Examples of when the CodeRED system might be exercised by the Township of Red Rock:
• Boil Water Advisory
• Evacuations
• Bomb Threat
• Chemical Spill or Gas leak
