Do you know an outstanding Red Rock resident aged 65+? If so, nominate this special person to be Red Rock’s 2024 Senior of the Year!
Nomination deadline for the 2024 award is March 1st. Nominations received after this date will not be entered into consideration for 2024.
The Provincial Senior of the Year award gives each municipality in Ontario the opportunity to honour one outstanding resident aged 65+ from their local community each year.
Eligibility
- Nominee must be 65 years of age or older and a current resident of Red Rock
- Nominee has made volunteer contributions to better the community
- Nominee has not been a previous recipient of this award
- Only individuals may be nominated (couples or groups are not eligible)
- Nominee must give permission to be nominated and verify that the information being submitted is accurate
Selection Process
Nominations will be reviewed and one will be selected by Red Rock’s Town Council.
Recognition of Nominees
The recipient of Red Rock’s Senior of the Year Award will be announced by the Township of Red Rock later this year.
