Services Provided
Residents with concerns related to drinking water quality, service interruptions, or pressure issues are encouraged to fill out the: Complaint Form.
This form helps us track and respond to concerns in a timely and documented manner.
Watermain breaks are often caused by extreme weather, freeze and thaw cycles, and external corrosion of water pipes. Signs of a break are water flowing or pooling on the ground or reduced water pressure in your home.
If you notice a water break, contact the Municipal Office.
All properties in the Township of Red Rock townsite are connected to a metered water/sewer system. This means you are billed based on actual water usage, along with a fixed monthly base charge.
Your quarterly utility bill includes:
- Monthly Base Rate – A fixed charge that helps cover infrastructure maintenance and system readiness, regardless of consumption.
- Consumption Rate – A variable charge based on the number of cubic meters (m³) of water used during the billing period.
2025 Residential Rate Breakdown:
- Base Rate: $62.40 per month OR $187.20 per billing period
- Consumption Rate: $2.69 per m³ of water used
- Sewer charges are calculated as a percentage of the base rate and water consumption.
Commercial, industrial, and institutional rates will differ. Please contact the Township Office for details.

- 1st Quarter – January
- 2nd Quarter – April
