Celebrate Canada’s birthday in Red Rock with a fun-filled day of community activities for all ages! The Canada Day Celebrations run all day on July 1st, featuring a packed schedule of events across town.

Experience the magic of music at the Live from the Rock Folk Festival, held annually on the second weekend of August. Since 2003, this volunteer-driven festival has brought together over
2,000 music lovers to enjoy world-class performances on multiple stages set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Superior. The 2025 festival is scheduled for August 8–10.

Challenge yourself with the Paju Mountain Run, a 12 km race that takes participants through Red Rock’s scenic trails and up the 715 ft ascent of Paju Mountain. The 42nd annual run will be held on August 9, 2025, in coordination with the Live from the Rock Folk Festival. The event includes both competitive and non-competitive categories, with awards and a community luncheon following the race.

Anglers from across the region gather for the Red Rock Fish & Game Club’s Annual Trout Derby, a weekend-long fishing competition held in early June. Participants compete to catch the heaviest Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, or Salmon, with prizes awarded daily. The 26th annual derby is scheduled for June 6–8, 2025, at the Red Rock Marina.
