2026 Paju Mountain Run
The Paju Mountain Run is a 12km run through the community of Red Rock on asphalt streets, out the packed gravel Escape Road, across Hwy 628 (the Red Rock Road), then up the Paju Mountain with a total elevation increase of 715ft, and back down again. This event brings participants from across the North Shore of Lake Superior, with past participants from the East Coast of Canada, Manitoba, and Denmark.
The Paju Mountain Run takes place the second weekend in August, in conjunction with the Live from the Rock Folk Festival.
Past race times have ranged from 42 minutes to 2 hours.

What You Need To Know
Online Registration Deadline: Friday, August 7th at 12:00pm
In Person Registration Deadline: August 8th at the Red Rock Legion until 7:30am – 8:15am.
Early Registration until May 31st – $50.00
Registration starting June 1st – $65.00
Same-day Registration on August 8th – $70.00
Registration fees can be paid via cash, debit/credit, or cheque up until race day at check-in.
Make cheques payable to the Township of Red Rock.
All prices include HST.
* Registrations canceled before July 18th will receive the purchased amount minus $5 to cover the additional processing fee. Refund requests between July 19th and August 8th will be eligible for a 50% refund. No-shows on race day are not eligible for a refund, except for extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the race director.

Participant T-Shirts: Athletic Quality T-shirts guaranteed availability for early bird registrants, as t-shirts will be ordered at the beginning of June.
Cotton T-Shirts: available on race day while quantities last.
After June 1st, T-shirts are available online while quantities last, with remaining stock available on race day at the Legion before and after the race.

Check-in and race kit pick-up is between 7:30 am and 8:15 am in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 43 Salls Street, Red Rock (upstairs) on race day, August 8th, 2026.
Race starts and ends at the Tennis Courts beside the Recreation Centre at 39 Brompton Rd.

2 hour time limit (all participants back at finish line for 11:00am)
Washrooms are available at the Legion and Recreation Centre, and showers are located in the Recreation Centre.

All remaining participants are entered into draws for additional prizes valued between $50 to $200 until all participants have received a prize, or no more prizes are available. Winners must be present to collect their prize for the additional participant draws.
